Gaia Awarded BECTA Contract
Gaia is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a £200,000 contract by BECTA to supply and install Servers and PC’s in 24 Secondary schools across England.
The equipment includes high end quad core xeon servers running either Linux or Windows 2003 Server, Core 2 Duo based PC’s and HP thin clients.
The installations were completed during January & February 2008 in cities across England including, Newcastle, Birmingham, Dover, Plymouth, Bristol etc.

We have an extensive library of 3D content and we
are constantly creating more. All content is syllabus
specific and we have a team working closely with
schools and academies to develop new and bespoke
lessons tailored specifically to individual school needs.
Each lesson can be enhanced by the teacher with the
capability to quickly and easily embed external videos
and images directly into the lessons provided. All new
content is immediately accessible and shared between
schools—giving you access to a constantly expanding
collection of 3D models.
