This series of models demonstrate an entire lesson from the life cycle of a mosquito through to the infection of the skin by the disease. These models also highlight the symptoms and treatments related to malaria. Detailed models are available of all these processes from the way a mosquito’s mouth parts are adapted to suit the task in hand to the structure of the parasite at microscopic levels and the relevant human organs that are involved in the process. This is only a sample of the content available.
